The Parish Church of St. Magdalena in Fürstenfeldbruck where Franz Biebl was the Director of Music when he composed his Ave Maria.
He was also responsible for the music at the former Klosterkirche (Convent Church) in the same parish, with its historic 2-manual, 27-register organ built by Johann Fux in 1736 (restored by Sandtner in 1978). It is of a size ideally suited for choral concerts. Delightful decorations on the organ case and console include an inlay of a fox chasing a goose across the pedalboard.
