The first ("Lord, I am not worthy . . . but speak the word") sets a text based on Matthew 8:8 in dramatic fashion. The "Our Father" is moderately difficult and can be performed by advanced amateur choirs. Parallelisms and returning unisons make it easier to prepare, dissonances are approached through voice movement, and the voices do not exceed the traditional ambitus.
