  • CQ2823     Salmo 23,  for SSA choir and piano, oversize octavo (8½ x 11) 12 pp., $2.35
    This sumptuously lyrical setting of the most famous of the Psalms (the 23rd) has elegantly simple vocal lines (range A-F#) and a chaconne-style harmonization. It requires an able pianist. The composer's text is in Portuguese, to which has been added singable text in both Spanish and English, to make this accessible to a larger number of choirs. Suitable for liturgical or concert use.   • CQ2502     Salmo 150,  for 9-voice mixed choir, with percussion, oversize octavo (8½ x 11) 24 pp., $2.95.     
    Composed for the Chicago A Cappella, this is a wonderfully up-beat and contemporary setting of Psalm 150 for SSAATTBarBarBass choir, plus timpani, tambourine and castanets. It can also be performed a cappella without the percussion, or just with timpani. Duration approx. 5'00". Difficulty level, 3. Suitable for both liturgical and concert performance.   • CQ2523     Salmo 121,  for mixed choir (SATB) a cappella, oversize octavo (8½ x 11) 7 pp., $1.65
    This setting of Psalm 121 has both English and Portuguese singable text. Moderate ranges, but singers will find some chromatic intonation challenges. Its devotional style makes it especially useful for worship settings, but the beautiful writing for the voice will also make it a pleasure in any concert program. Difficulty level 3. Duration approx. 2'20".
