WHAT'S NEW?
  • Robert Jordahl was born in Iowa in 1926. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1944-1946, before receiving Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees from the University of Texas in Austin. His Ph.D. in music theory is from the Eastman School of Music. Most recently, Dr. Jordahl was Professor of Music and Coordinator of Music Theory at McNeese State University in Louisana, a position he held from 1968-1999. Before that, he taught at Alaska Methodist University and also taught public school music. He is now retired and lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
