The choral music of California composer and performer Wilbur Skeels (ASCAP, ACDA, NACM), available through his publishing company, Cantus Quercus Press, and through other publishers, is written for classically oriented church choirs, for school and community choral groups, and for professional choirs and chorales.

Dr. Skeels collaborated with composer Franz Biebl, late of Munich, and several German publishing houses to make Herr Biebl's works more accessible to North American audiences.The only comprehensive Index of Franz Biebl's more than 2,000 compositions is HERE on this website! In addition to Herr Biebl, we feature other excellent contemporary German choral composers.

An exciting collaboration is with Polish composers Marcin Mazur and Wlodzimierz Soltysik in publishing Polish/English editions of contemporary and classical Polish choral music. Any of the choral scores from the Polish company Triangiel can also be ordered through our store.

Cantus Quercus Press also offers long unavailable sacred choral music by Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959), in cooperation with the Academia Brasileira de Música and the Museu Villa-Lobos in Rio de Janeiro. We also feature contemporary composers from Brazil, Éder Camúzis, Marco Coutinho, Angelo Dias, Flávio Gontijo, Liduino Pitombeira, Eli-Eri Moura, Henrique de Curitiba, André Vidal, and Amaral Vieira.

Among our composers are Pennyslvania composer Peter van den Honert of Edinboro University (Pennsylvania), California composer Glenn Wonacott, Maryland composer Richard Hartzell, California (German-born) composer Lothar Bandermann, and English composer Graham Lack.  They are joined by by a wonderful composer from Siberia, the late Askold Murov , and by the rising Australian star, Calvin Bowman.
 

Also in our catalog are works by Jane Chapman, Pauline Delmonte , and Bruce Vandervalk. Chapman, Delmonte, Vandervalk and Skeels all live in Ventura County, Southern California. Flautist/composer Lanny Pollet lives in British Columbia. The distinguished American composer Robert Jordahl, is also represented in our catalog.
